The Boise Co-op opened its brand new Meridian outpost back on Nov. 13. It took me a couple of weeks to brave the traffic on Eagle Road to check it out, but I'm sure glad I did. Particularly because I found my new favorite lunch deal: The Bavarian Bowl with house-made weisswurst, sage spaetzle and cabbage salad. Made from scratch in the deli using a combo of pork and beef, the juicy weisswurst was perfectly salty, with subtle notes of white pepper, dried mustard and coriander.
