I'm Tara Morgan, a food and booze writer based in Boise, Idaho. I'm a journalist, oyster lover and rosé aficionado. For the last 7 years, I've written about food for the Boise Weekly, everything from breaking news to restaurant reviews. I'm also an Editor at Edible Idaho, a magazine that examines Idaho's blossoming local food scene. 


Last year, I married an amazing dude who's also obsessed with food. Alex is the brunch chef at The Modern Hotel, a cider maker, charcuterie wiz, gardener and forager. When we're not trying out new restaurants, we like to cook simple, seasonal meals using homegrown and home-cured ingredients.  


Writing about food for a living is amazing, but sometimes there's not enough space in print to cover everything I want to write about. Enter Boise Feed. This site is a mash-up of food news, recipes, event info, trends and restaurant reviews.


Boise Feed is a resource for locals interested in Boise's always evolving food scene and a go-to guide for visitors looking to explore the city through the lens of a local food critic. Cheers!
