A Peek Inside Wildflour Bakery's Sleek New Space in Garden City

Longtime cult cookie creator Mary Cogswell opened a storefront location for her popular Wildflour Bakery on Monday, Feb. 1. The sleek, modern space sits behind the Grasmick Produce warehouse at 304 E. 42nd Street in Garden City. 

 

Founded in 1992 in the North End, Wildflour Bakery has long sold its small-batch cookies, muffins, cake breads, granola and other specialty items wholesale at the Boise Co-op and Whole Foods Market. 

 

Now, fans can snag Cogswell's addictively delicious sweet treats—like salted chocolate chip cookies, lemon blackberry muffins and baked apple donuts—along with specialty Flying M espresso drinks and house-made sodas Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
