Take a Bite of Burek at Boise's Bosnian and Herzegovinian Heritage Day
Boise's Bosnian and Herzegovinian community is hosting the inaugural Bosnian Heritage Day Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Julius M. Kleiner Park, located at 1900 N. Records Ave Meridian.
During the Bosnian festival you can sample traditional Bosnian food, participate in educational workshops and watch various traditional dance and music
performances. Bosnian author, Jasmina Cesic, will also be at the festival to showcase her book, The River Runs Salt, Runs Sweet.
